Reston Study Center

Reston Study Center is a supplementary education center for students and professional men.  Wayuu Technologies designed and operates its corporate network, which consist of a cloud-controlled firewall appliance Meraki MX64 and nine Ubiquiti access providing wi-fi coverage for private rooms and common areas.  Two SSIDs are operating concurrently with WPA2/EAS authentication.


Stonecrest Home Arts

For 30 years, Stonecrest Home Arts has provided a work and educational space where women learn how to care for the basic needs of the person. Wayuu Technologies designed and operates its corporate network consisting of a cloud-controlled firewall appliance Meraki MX64 and four Ubiquiti access points (working as wireless up-link) providing wi-fi coverage for private rooms and common areas. Because of building limitations, two access points are connected via wirelessly to the main access point.  One SSID currently operates with WPA2/EAS authentication.


Ball Rock, Inc

This group of full-service design and Building firms offers architectural design, construction management, and development services to clients nationwide and, general contracting services to clients in greater Washington, D.C. Wayuu Technologies provides IT support for Ball Rock's corporate users. Our technical team helped them migrate their Lotus Notus email and file server into a cloud-based environment using Office 365. Their file server, which must be hosted on their premises because of the nature of their work, is based on Synology platform (RAID6). Ball Rock, is currently undergoing a network redesign using all Cisco Meraki hardware (MX64, MS220 and MR18).


Wyoming House, Inc

Wyoming House is a not-for-profit organization in Washington, DC that provides human, personal, profesional and spiritual instruction for residents and visitors. In the Summer of 2015,  Wayuu Technologies conducted a telecom reengineering project for Wyoming House that entailed seamless switching its Internet service provider, upgrading its wifi network from Mitel-based 802.11g to Ubiquiti-based 802.11ac, and adding a cloud-controlled firewall appliance. The network is maintained a cloud-managed by Wayuu Technologies.  The data network consists of a cloud-controlled Meraki MX64 and four Ubiquti access points for wi-fi coverage for common areas and private rooms.  The wireless part of this infrastructure provides 802.11g access for the legacy telephone system through a dedicated SSID (WPA2/EAS) and an additional SSID for all other data connections (computers and portable devices).
